Natural French perfume, the way it has been quietly made in the south of France for generations: by hand, in small batches, with every ingredient declared on the label.
Aimée de Mars composes 100% naturally derived fragrances at our farm in Mévouillon, in La Drôme provençale, and bottles them at our laboratory in the Loiret. We use no synthetic musks, no phthalates, no undisclosed aromachemicals. What you read on the bottle is what reaches your skin.
An honest definition of natural perfume
A natural perfume is a composition whose ingredients come from plants, flowers, woods and minerals — extracted by traditional methods such as steam distillation and cold expression, which preserve the integrity of the plant. Most perfumes on the market today use synthetic aromachemicals derived from petroleum and hidden behind the single word parfum on the label. We refuse that shortcut.
At Aimée de Mars, every fragrance is composed under the Aromaparfumerie® method — perfume and botanical aromatherapy in one bottle. The pure essential oils, floral waters and absolutes that build the composition are also the active ingredients of a botanical care formula. The fragrance carries an emotional intent. The intent is supported by the chemistry of the plants themselves.
Made in France, the long way
Our raw materials are sourced from European producers we know by name — lavender from Provence, rose from Grasse, cistus from the Cévennes, immortelle from Corsica. The compositions are built in Valérie Demars's atelier in Mévouillon and bottled at our small laboratory in Montcresson, in the Loiret. The Celtic spring water of Aimée enters every formula as a final harmonising element, a tradition we owe to the Benedictine monks who once tended this land.
French perfumery is not a label we apply to a finished product. It is a chain — terroir, harvest, distillation, composition, bottling — that we hold together from end to end.

For the wearer who reads ingredient lists. For the person whose skin reacts to conventional perfume. For the wearer who wants the long-lasting wear and complexity of a true French parfum without the undeclared synthetics. For anyone who treats fragrance as part of daily care, not as decoration.
