Aimée Demars is my grandmother's name.

It is a tribute I am paying her by naming the brand after her.

My grandmother's unconditional love was boundless, and this is a powerful foundation for growing up on the difficult path of self-confidence and self-love.

I was fortunate to spend a lot of time with the woman who taught me the sacredness of nature and love, respect for people and life in general.

Aimée was a peasant, the granddaughter of a peasant, part of a lineage of healing women, close to the Earth, plants and animals.

Born in 1912, she went through the difficult times of the war, but she always kept faith and a smile because she was connected to her own divine spark.

She showed me the path to healing through plants, but also through love, resilience, and forgiveness.

It was also she who made possible the renovation of the small fountain, the spring of Saint Genulphe where I used to lean when I was 10 years old and near which I felt a deep peace.

Her son, my father, guardian of the spring, in turn passed on to me the care of preserving this spring and this Celtic place; it was written that I, in turn, should watch over this wonderful place.

So, I too became the guardian of the spring.

Aimée Demars lived up to her name: gentleness and action, tenderness and strength, well-balanced feminine and masculine polarities.
